As we all start to think about the New Year ahead, I like to reflect on the year just gone by.

Reflections of 2015 has seen a busy year with work, and continued learning and seminars on health and fitness,  but I am truly blessed to be doing something that I am passionate about.  We have had some fantastic holidays and time to be mindful and relax, and have also enjoyed some wonderful celebrations with family and friends for my daughters 21st and my 50th birthday.

Reflections of 2015 also saw the launch of Lifestyle Holistic Health – my supplementation business where the “Cleanse Programme” proved a great success in helping so many clients lose weight, cure illness and allergies or intolerances.  The Hormone Rebalancing Programme continued to be getting great results with new clients signing up to help them achieve weight loss results and then finding that it had helped partners and children to become healthier and lose weight too!   I also launched the Clean Kitchen Cookery Demonstration days with the help of a fantastic cook Julie Hall and my friend Amanda Horgan.

Reflections of 2015 saw again an increase in obesity in Great Britain, increasing the numbers attending our NHS requiring medication for diabetes, thyroid, high bloods pressure etc. I felt the need to do more about this, which led me to become passionate about wanting to teach people the importance of good nutrition for optimum health through diet lifestyle and supplementation, believing nutrition is key and we need to adopt and 80/20 ratio of nutrition and fitness into our lifestyles.

2016, I will be focussing on teaching everything in moderation and being mindful of the food we eat, in a way that you enjoy but that also gets results.  The mental awareness of food is so important and I want people to be LESS STRESSED with their interactions with their food choices, as it can be obsessive to the point of misery. Life is too short to be neurotic about your eating. So I will continue to work hard at inspiring clients this year through Instagram of example meal ideas of simple fresh dishes, full of nourishment to help them feel more energetic and healthy, and add more recipes to my blog.

As the Queen said in her speech, ” there are millions of people lighting candles of hope in our world today. Christmas is a good time to be thankful for them, and for all that brings light to our lives”, I am a firm believer that only we can light the way to our own happiness and success, and there’s an old saying that “it is better to light a candle than curse the darkness”.  I thank you all for your continued love and support in all I do –  remember to  eat well, sleep well, laugh well, meditate and see the light to follow your dreams   IF NOT YOU WHO? IF NOT NOW WHEN?
